Next Steps Events are exclusively for admitted students. You will learn all the ins and outs of becoming our next Golden Flash. All admitted student events are by invitation only. You will receive an invitation to the email address used to apply for admission, or you can register for these events in your applicant portal.
SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL AID NEXT STEPS
Attend any of our virtual events hosted by a representative from the Financial, Billing and Enrollment Center where you will:
- Learn your next steps for financial aid and scholarships.
- Learn important dates and timelines.
- Engage in a Q&A session with the Financial, Billing and Enrollment Center.
FACEBOOK LIVE ASK US ANYTHING
Join us live on Facebook where the topic of conversation is provided by you! Log in to your own Facebook, "like" the Kent State University Admissions page and get your questions answered live.
Topics typically include the admissions process, scholarships and financial aid, student orientation, housing, culinary services and the Honors College.
Next Event: Tuesday, April 29 at 7 p.m.
FIRST-YEAR STUDENT NEXT STEPS
In these virtual events, first-year students will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about the first-year student checklist.
- Learn how to sign up for Destination Kent State (DKS), New Student Orientation.
- Learn how to complete the housing application.
- Ask questions.
- Watch a virtual tour of the Kent Campus.
So, How Do You Register?
If you are attending the first-year student or financial aid and scholarships event, you will receive an invitation to the email address used to apply for admission, or you can register for these events in your applicant portal.
If you are attending the Facebook Live event, registration is not required. Simply log in to Facebook and join us on the event date!
