The Raghanti laboratory

The Raghanti lab focuses on understanding the evolution of the human brain. One of our major themes include examining the role of neurotransmitters, particularly within subcortical circuits, in shaping cognitive and behavioral specializations. The other major research focus is a comparative analyses of neuropathological processes, including Alzheimer's disease pathology, among human and nonhuman primate species.
