Biography

Research Interests:

Neuroendocrine control of reproduction

Our lab investigates the neuronal pathways that control reproductive endocrine function using animal models. In particular, we investigate the mechanisms by which distinct cell populations in the hypothalamus control pulsatile and surge secretion of gonadotropin releasing hormone.

Education

Ph.D. Neuroscience University of Michigan Postdoctoral Fellow Columbia University

Research Methods

Neuroanatomy, Confocal Microscopy, Light Sheet Microscopy, Molecular Neurobiology, In situ Hybridization, Immunohistochemistry
