We investigate alcohol-associated and metabolic dysfunction-associated liver injury and the underlying mechanisms, focusing on cell metabolism, cell signaling pathways, and innate immunity. Our research areas include: 1) Metabolic regulation of hepatic stellate cell activation; 2) Role of non-coding RNAs in liver pathophysiology; 3) Cell death and activation of innate immunity.
