The Jericho Road Community Health Center provides high-quality medical care to individuals with limited access, including families in poverty, refugees, and immigrants. In addition to these services, Jericho Road is affiliated with several refugee assistance programs in the Buffalo, NY area, including the Hope Refugee Drop-in Center, the Priscilla Project for expecting Refugee mothers, FLY After School program for Middle School aged Refugees, and the Vive Shelter for Asylum Seekers. Kent State has worked with Vive in the past for the Buffalo ASB trip, and we are hoping to utilize our connections to work with multiple programs through Jericho Road. We also have fostered a partnership with NACS for 6+ years. They provide our participants with cultural competency training and other cultural engagement opportunities throughout the week.
