Enhance your health and well-being while having fun with your co-workers, family members and friends. Join Fit for Life (formerly Faculty/Staff Exercise Program), and get the individual and small group attention needed while achieving personal goals at your own pace. This one-credit workshop is a perfect opportunity for members to achieve success in their personal health and fitness journey.

For employees and students eligible for tuition benefits, this exercise program is free! Spring 2016 sessions start on Jan. 19 with three different times offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6-7 a.m., noon-1 p.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m.

This 60-minute class typically begins with a warm-up of stretching and calisthenics, followed by a choice of aerobics (walking, jogging, bicycling, aqua aerobics and more). Next, to strengthen muscle groups through range of motion, is an anaerobic workout using light weights. Finally, you will cool down through light stretching and relaxation exercises.
