The way the student account details are displayed

Why change the way students access their student account details?

The current version of Self-Service Banner or SSB9 does not allow for customization needed to accurately reflect the student account balance.

What is the change?

Starting June 1, access to the student account details via FlashLine will direct students to Transact vs SSB. Students will have all their student account related items in one place to:

  • Make payments on their student account
  • Set up a payment plan for the term
  • See their published eBill
  • View their student account balance and what to pay
  • Print a copy of their student account detail
What is not changing?
  • Students utilizing FlashLine to access their student account information
  • How and when students are billed
  • How students access their issued eBill
  • How students pay their student account-related items
  • Access to student account information via Banner (TSAAREV, TSICSRV, or TSADETL)
Will this impact where advisors and staff see student account items?

Employees will only be able to view student account details via Banner using TSICSRV. Please review the Viewing a Student Account in Banner document for step by step instructions to access TSICSRV

What does the new account view look like for students?

The new student account view is designed to be simpler and more intuitive. It provides a clear, streamlined layout that makes it easier for students to read, understand, and manage their account details, such as balances, payments, and charges all in one place, with a summary view at the top, see example below.
