Read on to learn more about her favorite places in Kent, what she enjoys doing in her free time and what advice she has for incoming graduate students.

Where is your hometown?

I am from Oyo, Nigeria.

Why did you choose Kent State University?

I chose Kent State because of the excellent standard of education, and the excellent opportunities my program offered.

What do you like most about living in/near Kent? Do you have a favorite local spot or activity?

I like the zen atmosphere that comes with living in Kent. My favorite local spot has to be The Battleground Taproom and Mexican Kitchen. They have the best tacos!

What is your favorite KSU memory?

I have so many memories, but in general, every event I have attended on campus has been impactful and memorable.

What are some differences you've noticed in being a graduate student (expectations, pressures, visibility, etc.) than those of an undergraduate student?

As a graduate student the majority of your work is individualized compared to an undergraduate student.

What advice do you have for incoming graduate students?

Connect, connect, connect! Also, do not be afraid to ask questions - there are no silly questions.
