
Cindy L. Widuck
Biography
Cindy Widuck is an instructor in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences in the College of Public Health at Kent State University. Prior to coming to the College of Public Health she worked as a project director in the Psychology Department at Kent State. She managed multiple grants and labs. Her work with the Cognitive Psychology and Social Health research prepared her for a career in public health. She is committed to teaching and continues to explore new ideas for online curriculum. Her public health interests include: Community health, Workplace Wellness, Complementary and Alternative Health, and the Built Environment. She is active with various community service projects and has served on the Sustainability Task Force, the Kent State Community Garden, and the Shade Tree Commission. Ms. Widuck’s interests have always centered on education, health, behavior, environment, community and research, making public health an ideal fit for her career. The College of Public Health has allowed her to explore and share those passions with her students. She continues to learn and share her knowledge and passion through teaching and community service.
