Hearing Screening

What To Expect From a Hearing Screening

A Hearing Screening can be completed in 5 minutes and will consist of checking several frequencies (pitches) to see if the possibility of hearing loss exists. We will give you a copy of your results, either pass or refer that you can take to a hearing healthcare professional or keep for your own records.

Video Otoscopy will give you the chance to see what you ear canals and ear drums look like. We will be able to tell you if you need any further follow up to assess any issues that may be seen. This will just take a few minutes.

Hearing Screenings and Video Otoscopy are provided by Speech Pathology and Audiology Clinic, School of Health Sciences, Kent State University.
