TELL US ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE AS A STUDENT AT KENT STATE!
I am a junior at Kent State University studying advertising. I have been heavily involved in student leadership as a Resident Assistant, Peer Success Trainer, Mentor & Coach, USG, Tour Guide, Orientation Leader and more. I have told many families on tour that my best advice is to try it all. Every major, sorority or club that ever piqued my interest, I gave a shot.
I am beyond lucky to leave Kent State with no regrets because I tried quite literally everything.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE KENT STATE?
I chose Kent State due to the financial aid I was given and because I wanted to be more than just a number. I have built connections with professors, classmates and had opportunities such as going to Notre Dame as a photographer for Kent State that may have never happened at a bigger school.
WHEN DID KENT STATE START TO FEEL LIKE HOME?
Roughly a semester in it truly started to feel like my second home. I found community in my hall-mates freshman year, clubs and the PSA class.
WHAT'S A COOL LEARNING EXPERIENCE YOU'VE HAD?
Something cool was traveling to Notre Dame for the Women's March Madness game and getting to photograph it.
WHO HAS MADE YOUR COLLEGE EXPERIENCE SPECIAL?
My trainer, Ari Robinson, made it special because of how proud she was of me, always.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY?
My favorite memory are just the silly nights running around doing side quest with my friends. It's always the times you least expect.
WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS, POST-GRADUATION?
My career goals are to work for an advertising agency and eventually work my way up to chief officer. Kent State has prepared me with not only course work, but also building connections in clubs such as PRSSA.
