A new carrier is coming — and you don't need to do a thing
Beginning July 1, 2026, our Life Insurance, Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D), and Long‑Term Disability (LTD) benefits will transition to a new carrier: Lincoln Financial Group.
No action is required from you. If you are currently enrolled in life insurance, AD&D, and LTD coverage, the Banner system will automatically reflect the name of the new carrier.
What's changing
- Life Insurance, AD&D, and LTD coverage will automatically transfer to Lincoln Financial Group.
- All updates will be handled automatically behind the scenes. You do not need to take action.
What's not changing
- Your current employer-paid life insurance coverage levels.
- Your supplemental employee-paid life insurance coverage levels.
- LTD coverage levels.
