The Jewish immigrant experience to America parallels that of many other migrant populations who have come to these shores to build a new life. This one credit course will explore the historic events in the world that caused large numbers of Jews seeking refuge to come to New York and become part of the fabric of the emerging city.

For the immigrant Jews, America was always considered the ‘Golden Land’ and many who arrived made a significant mark on New York and the Country. A number of these individuals will be highlighted in our studies.

Transportation, itinerary details and cost will become available soon.

Trip will be limited to the first 15 students who sign up for the course.
