Kent State University is committed to the Department of Defense MOU. As part of our efforts to eliminate unfair, deceptive and abusive marketing aimed at service members, Kent State does not provide commission, bonus or other incentive payment based directly or indirectly on securing enrollment to any persons or entities engaged in student recruiting. Kent State does not engage in high-pressure recruitment tactics for the purpose of securing service member enrollment. PRIOR TO ENROLLING AT KENT STATE UNIVERSITY

Please be sure to contact your Educational Services Officer (ESO) or Readiness NCO at your base or your specific branch of service prior to enrolling to ensure that Kent State University is the right selection for you.

FEDERAL TUITION ASSISTANCE (TA)

Did you know that as a service member you’re eligible for TA? Each service has its own criteria for eligibility, obligated service, application process' and restrictions. This money is paid directly to the institution by the individual services. It provides 100% tuition & fees, not to exceed $250 per semester hour. Kent State University does not offer a military or tuition discount. The remaining balance must be paid by fee posted deadlines.

Eligible Service members must receive approval from an Educational Service Officer (ESO) or counselor within the Military Service prior to enrolling in Tuition Assistance (TA). For more information on how to apply go to https://www.kent.edu/cavs/getstarted.
