Scholarships

Please review the following scholarship opportunities.

  1. The Robert and Emily Beasley Scholarship: This scholarship provides support to students who are facing challenges due to disability and are registered with SAS or have overcome obstacles to earn their GED and are now enrolled in collge. You can access more information and apply for this scholarship with the University Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.
  2. American Council of the Blind (ACB): The ACB has scholarships for students who are legally blind. Over $45,000 in scholarships are awarded to students each year. To be eligible, you need to be legally blind in both eyes, maintain a 3.3 GOA, and be in involved in your school and/or local community.
  3. DO-IT: The Disabiities, Opportunities, Internetworking, and Technology organization provides information on college funding and resources for disability-relates scholarships. 
  4. The P. Buckley Moss Society: Provides scholarships to students with learning differences who plan to study within the visual arts field. 
  5. EDUMED: Provides scholarships and resources for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
