This event already has occurred.

Thursday, 28 October, 2021 - 7:00 pm to Friday, 29 October, 2021 - 9:00 pm

Great Lakes Brewery Beer Symposium Center - 1951 W. 26th St., Cleveland, OH 44113

The taps are on, the beer is pouring and class is back in session! Join the Greater Cleveland Alumni Chapter at Great Lakes Brewing Company as a GLBC Cicerone and certified beer educator cracks open the story of beer – where it came from, how it’s made and the best way to taste it. Special guest Randale L. Richmond, director of athletics, will also be in attendance to chat with Golden Flashes throughout the tour.

There won’t be any textbooks, but there will be plenty of beer to help enhance your learning. We will be studying:

  • Dortmunder Gold Lager
  • Crushworthy Lo-Cal Citrus Wheat
  • Hazecraft IPA
  • Edmund Fitzgerald Porter
  • A rotating seasonal beer!

Each guest will receive one 5-ounce pour of each beer, so have those taste buds ready! All participants will receive a special Hop College branded Nonic Pint Glass and notebook as well as official beer nerd bragging rights.

Graduate at the bottom of your glass at Hop College, where the taproom is your classroom!

Cost:
$45.00, plus processing fees
