The worldwide pandemic has certainly taken a toll on us in many different ways. In this presentation, the implications of the pandemic will be explored, including the potential impacts on mental health. Participants will learn about stress, anxiety, and pandemic fatigue, be able to recognize signs and symptoms, and develop healthy coping strategies that will ultimately help build resilience. The presentation will be a combination of didactic and experiential, and there will be opportunities for discussion. Participants will also engage in experiential relaxation activities.

Speaker/Resource Person: Jennifer Knott, M.Ed, LPCC-S, OCPSA (she/her/hers) is a licensed therapist and prevention professional with over 10 years’ experience in the behavioral health field. Jennifer is currently the Outreach Coordinator in KSU’s Counseling and Psychological Services department, and also provides therapeutic services. Her professional specialties include suicide prevention, anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use.
