Jonathan Gates

Jonathan Gates currently serves as a Transfer Enrollment Specialist in the Admissions Office. In this role, he provides guidance to students transferring to Kent State from 2-year and other 4-year institutions. Jonathan spends a lot of his time in virtual appointments and traveling to community colleges around the state of Ohio. He began working for Kent State in June 2020 and has over 5 years of experience in the field. He has also worked on the Ohio Transfer Council's Executive Board since 2018 and currently serves as its President.
