EHHS students Megan Burnett and Ronshai Jones Awarded for Leadership

EHHS students Megan Burnett and Ronshai Jones won leadership awards at the Center for Student Involvement's annual Student Leadership Awards program.

Megan Burnett, a graduating senior in the Human and Development and Family Sciences program, received the Peer Mentorship Award, presented to students who has served as a mentor or peer educator to their fellow students, team members, or classmates. Candidates demonstrate a commitment to sharing their knowledge, abilities, and experiences to help develop the capacities of others. Megan was also one of three finalists for the Outstanding Senior Award. Megan was nominated by the Exploratory Learning Community (Layne Crow, assistant director and Megan Medfisch, graduate assistant of the Exploratory Advising Center.) 

Ronshai Jones, second year student majoring in Sports, Exercise and Performance Psychology, received the Nancy and John Scott Emerging Leader Award, presented to a first or second year student who has shown tremendous growth and leadership promise through their campus involvement and contributions to student life.
