2026-27 FAFSA

The 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is open. This is for the Summer 2026, Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 terms.

Filing the FAFSA by February 1, 2026 gives students priority to receive the maximum amount of financial aid, including grants, scholarships, loans and work-study.

2027-28 FAFSA

The 2027-28 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will open on October 1st, 2026. This will be for the Summer 2027, Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 terms.

Be sure to add Kent State’s FAFSA code: 003051. You can also sign up for a FAFSA in a Flash virtual appointment to receive assistance.
