
Parents and Families Weekend 2022 will be held Sept. 16-17. This is a great time to visit and experience all that the campus has to offer. Several engaging family-friendly programs are planned for the weekend so you and your family can enjoy the campus, create memories, and experience the pride and tradition of Kent State football.

Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Discover and Debit cards are all accepted payment methods for your Parents and Families Weekend registrations through the online registration system. We are unable to accept registrations or payment by phone.

Yes, there will be a charge for children over 2.
Football tickets to the Kent State vs. Long Island University game are included in the Parents and Families Weekend package. However, if you just want to attend the game, please visit the Kent State Athletics Ticket site to purchase tickets. Pre-sale tickets are $15. The ticket cost day of the game is $20. There will be a $2.00 convenience fee associated with each on-line purchase.
No. Anyone attending weekend events must register (except for children 2 and under). We have planned activities and events to be for your entire family, and this is a great time for you all to connect with your Kent State student. We encourage you to ask your student(s) about any conflicting exams, papers or other events that may conflict before making travel plans.

Yes. The a la carte events are only for attendees during the weekend.
Your Kent State student is invited to attend all Parents and Families Weekend events with your family.
KSU students must register for Parents and Families Weekend to attend.
You are required to wear your wristband at each event (Parents and Families Weekend, Tailgate, Blue and Gold Paint and Sip, and Family Movie Night). Wristbands will be provided at Check-In.
Families are encouraged to arrive on Thursday or Friday so they can enjoy the many campus events planned for Friday. Events are scheduled for Friday and Saturday so plan to stay for the entire weekend if you can!

You may park in the Visitor’s Lot located on Summit St. in front of the Kent Student Center. Parking will be free for the weekend.
Parents and Families Weekend check-in will be held in the Kent Student Center, room 306 from 5 - 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16. Check-in on Saturday, Sept. 17 will take place at the Field House located on Summit Street near Dix Stadium from 10:30 a.m.-Noon.
No, onsite registration will not be available.
Parents and Families Weekend Kick-off will be held in the Kent Student Center on the third floor in room 306.
