University Business

When can University Business be used?
  • When an employee is actually doing work for the university and is not able to clock in and out because there is no access to a university computer.
  • If an employee attends a university event, training or workshop that has been approved by the supervisor.  The type of training or workshop should be listed in the comments for use in future reporting.
When can University Business not be used?
  • In place of vacation, sick and comp time.
  • To cancel lunch deductions.

When University Business is added to a timecard, a comment must be added with a note explaining the reason for the university business. There are no exceptions to this rule.
