Our mission is to provide quality service, meaningful accounting information and good stewardship of public assets to a diverse and dynamic campus community; as well as external stakeholders in order to facilitate the educational, research, and service mission of Kent State University.
The Controller's Office is comprised of six departments. We offer support services in the areas of accounts payable, grants accounting, financial and plant accounting, and student receivable accounting. We provide diligent efforts and dependable financial services to the campus community through professional expertise, developing practical procedures and processes, promoting efficient systems, maintaining sound financial records, and seeking continuous improvements. We safeguard the University by ensuring adherence to regulatory and other requirements from the federal and state levels.
