Limited Submission Proposals

Funding agencies may limit the number of applications that can be submitted from a single institution. The OFRD oversees limited submission programs and ensures that multiple applications to a limited program announcement do not result in all applications being ineligible for funding. In general, limited submission calls are distributed by the Office of Sponsored Programs requesting a letter of intent (and additional materials such as CVS) by a specific deadline. These materials are reviewed by a convened panel of three non-conflicted reviewers.  The top-ranked letter is chosen for submission; however, those letters not chosen are encouraged to work with the Office of Sponsored Programs to identify other avenues of funding. For more details go to Limited Submission Funding Opportunities.
