CACM faculty member Karen Cunningham promoted to Associate Professor

Karen Cunningham, a CACM assistant professor from 1990 - 1994 and 2001 to present, was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor effective with the 2013-14 academic year.

Karen Cunningham, a CACM assistant professor from 1990 - 1994 and 2001 to present, was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor effective with the 2013-14 academic year.

Promotions are based on performance of assigned duties, professional development, and university citizenship. Professor Cunningham has taught numerous CACM courses over the years, and created courses in Negotiation, Conflict in the Workplace, and Exploring Careers in Conflict Management. She also developed resources to teach Introduction to Conflict Management as an online summer course, and has served as faculty advisor to several student organizations over the years, including the May 4 Task Force and the Student Peace Alliance.  She has continued to take classes and workshops for her own continued education, and has maintained a certification as a Professional in Human Resource Management.
