How many credit hours can I register for during Summer Sessions?

You can register for up to 12 undergraduate credit hours*.

If you wish to register for more than 12 credit hours, and are a:

• Kent State student: contact your advisor to request approval
• Guest student: contact the Exploratory Advising Center at 330-672-3676 to request approval. 

*For the summer term, both undergraduate and graduate students are able to register for a maximum of 6 credit hours in a five-week summer session; maximum 10 hours in an eight-week summer session; maximum 10 hours in overlapping summer sessions; or maximum 12 hours for all summer sessions combined, including summer intersession.
