Are you a Kent or a Guest Student?
Kent State Students are students normally enrolled in classes in the spring and fall at either Kent State main campus or any regional campuses. In order to be a full-time student and meet the enrollment requirements to maintain valid F-1 student status, undergraduate students must be enrolled a minimum of 12 hours and graduate students must be enrolled a minimum of 8 credit hours in either fall or spring.
As an undergraduate guest student, you may attempt no more than 18 semester hours, and you are not eligible for financial aid. Those who have previously been denied admission to a degree program at Kent State may not be admitted as a guest student.
After completing courses as a guest student, if you choose to pursue a Kent State degree or want to continue beyond the 18-hour credit limit, you will need to apply for regular admission.
When do I apply by?
