Friday Training Sessions

Student Training

At TeleProductions, student-success is very important.  One great opportunity for students is to work at TeleProductions, and get paid for work in their field before they even graduate.

Understanding video production by working on real projects gives students a lot of experience in the field they hope to end up in. Students from any major have the opportunity to start training and begin working on projects with TeleProductions. Production Manager, Mark Warzinski believes these sessions give students the ability to exceed expectations in the classroom. Warzinski says, “This hands on training helps the students master the tools of our trade which allows them to focus on creativity and crafting solid projects for their major classes.”

Every Friday in the TeleProductions studio in the Center for Performing Arts, training is held for students interested in working for TeleProductions. The training sessions are from 2-5 p.m. every Friday. You can start any Friday during the semester, but you must complete one semester of training before you can begin getting paid.

These hands-on jobs can give you more than just a paycheck. Students gain valuable skills and experience for a job in production. Warzinski says, “It is also a fun way to get more practice in the field that you have chosen and connect with others in the program.” If you’re interested in gaining these skills, come to the TeleProductions studio this Friday to get started.
