Josh Tanner begins work with TeleProductions

Kent State University graduate, and TeleProductions’ alumni Josh Tanner is now a TeleProductions Producer/Director. Josh began here mid-summer 2014 and has quickly jumped into preparing for football season, where he works with the students at Dix Stadium on game days.

Tanner graduated from Kent State University with his undergrad degree in Electronic Media Production, and he is currently working on a Master’s in Instructional Technology.

Tanner is originally from Chippewa Lake, OH, and has loved sports all throughout high school and college. He became interested in sports production when he saw a flyer about getting paid to work sports. Tanner says, “ It opened my eyes to a different aspect of media.” He then decided to focus on sports production.

Tanner has had the opportunity to work with Akron Rubber Ducks for 3 seasons (Formerly the Akron Aeros). He also had the chance to work with Fox Sports Ohio as an Associate Producer for the Cavs games and studio projects during the offseason. While a student at Kent, Tanner worked at TeleProductions and TV2. Currently, Tanner works with the Indians, along with his work at TeleProductions.

Tanner has a passion for sports, and football is his favorite. He’s looking forward to being able to work on the football season at Dix Stadium this month.
