Transfer Kent State (TKS) is an orientation program for all incoming transfer students to the Kent Campus. Registration for spring 2022 admitted will open October 25, 2021.

TKS consists of the following:

  • TKS KickStart: required online orientation modules customized for transfer students that can be completed at any time.

  • A virtual academic advising appointment that takes place during your scheduled TKS date.

If you have questions email  and check back for more up-to-date TKS information.

Visit BlackBoard Learn and complete the TKS KickStart modules prior to the start of classes.

The modules will introduce you to important resources such as academic advising, the GPS degree audit system, financial aid and scholarship information, technology requirements and opportunities for campus involvement and leadership. Use your Flashline credentials to log into BlackBoard using the link below. If you are unfamiliar with Blackboard, please visit the Information Technology website for detailed information.
