Register For Transfer Kent State

TKS is an orientation program for all incoming transfer students to the Kent Campus. Students will be introduced to campus resources, meet with an academic advisor, build their fall schedule and get their FLASHcard (KSU ID). Students will also have an opportunity to attend interactive workshops of their choice. At orientation, students will meet other transfer students and engage in some fun activities to assist them in learning their way around campus. Admitted transfer students can register for TKS here.

Although not required, students can bring up to two guests. It is important for you to begin building rapport with your academic advisor so we ask that guests do not attend your advising session. If you have any other questions, email Student Success Programs at transfer@kent.edu or call 330-672-2014.

Visit BlackBoard Learn and complete the TKS KickStart modules prior to the start of classes. The modules will introduce you to important resources such as academic advising, the GPS degree audit system, financial aid and scholarship information, technology requirements and opportunities for campus involvement and leadership. Use your Flashline credentials to log into BlackBoard using the link below. If you are unfamiliar with Blackboard, please visit the Information Technology website for detailed information.
