  • When the Kent State Golden Flashes football team took the field on Saturday, Oct. 11, fans at Dix Stadium looked to the sky as a Kent State Alta X drone released the official game ball before kickoff. The successful drop marked a first for Kent State and a milestone for the College of Aeronautics and Engineering.

  • Kent State University held its annual Homecoming celebration Saturday, drawing alumni, students and community members to campus for a day of festivities centered around this year's "Flash's Birthday Bash" theme.

  • Kent State's Spacecraft Design Lab is the location where a group of 35 Kent State undergraduates and nine graduate students in the AstroFlashes space exploration club are designing, building, and testing satellites and spacecraft components, and competing in space engineering challenges.

  • Kent State University’s Brain Health Research Institute (BHRI) and Wick Poetry Center are joining forces with the School of Theatre and Dance for a performance of poetry that will celebrate the potential of human creativity.
