It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Leah Benson's childhood dreams were filled with visions of flight. If you asked what creature she'd choose to be, she'd promptly reply, "A bird!" Her parents always encouraged her to pursue her passions, and now she's doing just that as a senior aerospace engineering student at Kent State's College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE). For Leah, this field combines her love for planes, space, math, and physics. Imagine her excitement upon learning that she's been selected for an internship at NASA!

Preparing for the Eclipse
On April 8, Northeast Ohio will experience a total solar eclipse, where the moon will completely cover the sun and reveal the corona, the sun’s atmosphere. According to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, this will be the first total eclipse in Ohio since 1806, and the next is predicted for 2099. You could say this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the area.

'Rent' Performances Feel 'Like Home' for Director Amy Fritsche
“525,600 minutes - how do you measure, measure a year?” These lyrics will fill the E. Turner Stump Theatre this weekend as the run of “Rent” finishes up on Sun, Feb. 25. Amy Fritsche, associate professor of acting and musical theater and director of “Rent” for Kent State, walked alongside students performing in the show from start to finish to ensure their first performance of the Spring semester was a hit.
