Felicia G. Johnson, Career Advisor, supports students and alumni as they navigate the process of career exploration and obtaining employment. She specializes in careers within Education, Social Services, and Public Policy career communities. As the diversity liaison, she spends her time increasing engagement with students from diverse identities and connecting them to CED services through strategic marketing and establishing effective partnerships across campus. She also serves as an instructor for Kent State’s Career Navigation course, and a board member for Ohio Career Development Association.
Felicia’s leadership with Go Pro - Career Fair Preparation Workshop, has led to an increase in student and KSU staff participation. Through workshops, training, and mentorship Felicia has also extended CED’s outreach to Trio programs, Akron Public Schools college and career preparation programs, and community organizations that build the confidence of youth to become thriving leaders and professionals.
