Mental health and well-being services that support the Kent State University community across any of our eight campuses can be found here. With services both on and off-campus, this comprehensive list serves as a tool of empowerment to educate and increase access to anyone who may need support.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

Services Located in Van Campen Hall, offers in-person services and telepsychology/virtual support.

CAPS is now providing both in-person and telehealth services, and is offering a variety of workshops, skill series, and outreach options that promote resiliency, reduce stress, and build the skills necessary to be successful here at Kent State University. We also offer both group and individual counseling as well as crisis support.

Counseling Center

CARES (Crisis, Advocacy, Resources, Education and Support) Center

Connect with the CARES Center or refer a student to get assistance securing resources that meet most basic needs. The center works to connect all Kent State students with both on and off-campus resources supporting their financial, food, housing, and mental well-being basic needs.

The CARES Center is in the Kent Student Center.

Student Accessibility Services (SAS)

Schedule an appointment to discuss barriers due to temporary or permanent disabilities (including medical, psychological, sensory and learning disabilities) and how to set up reasonable accommodations. Those already connected with SAS can also schedule a Quick Question appointment.

Prioritize your overall well-being by taking advantage of programs and services aimed at healthier living, nutrition, and physical and mental wellness. 

Peer Educators

Request a peer educator for a presentation on health-related topics for your student organization, residence hall, academic class or department. 

The Well Hub is in the Warren Student Recreation and Wellness Center.
