Tutoring Options
The Stark Campus Writing Center is closed for the summer. Students can visit the Kent Writing Commons for online support.
During the fall and spring semesters, the Writing Center offers three different tutoring options to meet students' needs.
1. In-Person Tutoring
Schedule an in-person tutoring session or drop in to meet with a tutor at the Writing Center in the Library.
2. TutorChat (live remote session)
TutorChat offers synchronous remote tutoring utilizing Microsoft Teams. You'll need a computer with a webcam and microphone, and you'll need to schedule a remote tutoring session.
3. eTutoring (email)
Complete a student profile, detail your assignment and upload your paper through email. A Writing Center tutor will correspond with you through email, usually within a day or two.
