The Center Releases Report on E-Government
Posted Dec, 18, 2010
Building E-Government Capacities identifies positive and negative perceptions toward regional e-government, as well as barriers to e-government adoption. The findings aim to provide focus for government efforts to make more efficient use of electronic information systems and expand public sector electronic services.
The information included in the report was gathered through a survey of local government entities, inquiring about their current use of e-government technology and potential applications in the future.
The study, funded through the Great Lakes Innovations group, has already provided the information necessary to construct three different courses regarding E-Government and Information Technology Contract Negotiation. To find out about further educational opportunities in the area of E-Government, call the Center at (330) 672-7148.
