Men's Flashes Face Illinois in Next NIT Game, March 22

Get your gold on! Kent State Golden Flashes advance to face Illinois after their 75-74 win over Tulsa in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT). The game will be held on March 22 at 8 p.m. (Eastern) at Illinois and televised on ESPNU.

Making its 11th post-season appearance in the last 12 years, Kent State (23-9) hosted Tulsa (23-11) in the first round of the National Invitation Tournament on March 17 at the M.A.C. Center. The Golden Flashes earned an automatic bid to the 73rd edition of the post-season tournament by winning the Mid-American Conference regular season title.
