ADVISORY: Board of Trustees Meeting, Sept. 15

The Kent State University Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting Wednesday, Sept. 15. The meeting will be held at Kent State’s Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative (CUDC) at its new location at 1309 Euclid Ave., Suite 200, in Cleveland’s PlayhouseSquare District.

The Board will convene at 3 p.m. in the CUDC Board Room. Board committees will meet as follows:
• Audit and Finance committees – 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the CUDC Classroom.
• Academic Excellence and Student Success Committee – 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Board Room.
• Committee of the Whole – 1:45 p.m.-2:45 p.m. in the Board Room.

Trustees are expected to retire into executive session at about 9:30 a.m. to consider specific topics as provided for under Ohio's "Sunshine Law."

Kent State President Lester A. Lefton and Board Vice Chair Jacqueline Woods will be available to answer media questions immediately after the meeting.
