Award-Winning Poet, Adam Sol, Oct. 26
Posted Oct, 20, 2009The Wick Poetry Center will host a reading from Adam Sol on Monday, Oct. 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Wick Poetry Corner which is on the 2nd floor of the Kent State Library.
During this event, Sol will be reading from his recent book, “Jeremiah, Ohio,” a novel in poems. His previous books include “Jonah’s Promise,” which won MidList Press’ First Series Book Award for Poetry, and “Crowd of Sounds,” which won the Trillium Award for Poetry in 2004. Sol’s essays and reviews have appeared in The Globe and Mail, The Forward Shofar and elsewhere. He holds an M.F.A. from Indiana University, as well as a Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati. Sol is an assistant professor of English at Laurentian University, Georgian College.
