H1N1 Flu Clinic for Priority Group on Dec. 7 at Eastway Dining Room

Kent State’s University Health Services will be providing a free H1N1 Priority flu clinic to the university community on Monday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Eastway Dining Room. This clinic is open to all members of the university community who fit the predetermined priority groups:
A limited amount of H1N1 vaccine is available. Also, the remaining seasonal flu mist will be available during this time for all university members at the cost of $12 for students and $20 for university employees. For employees covered by one of Kent State’s medical providers, Anthem or Medical Mutual, the cost of the flu shot is covered in full.

- People 6 months old to 24 years old
- Pregnant women
- Caregivers and household contacts of infants under 6 months old
- People 64 years old and younger with chronic health conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, heart disease, and/or other chronic health conditions that compromise the immune system
- Health care and emergency medical services personnel with direct patient care
