2012 Fall Scholarship Reception Held

More than 70 scholarships were awarded last week to many of Kent State University at East Liverpool’s finest students. The awards, which were given to students to recognize their academic achievement, community leadership and service, will help defer some of the costs associated with higher education. $55,000 scholarship dollars were awarded to Kent State East Liverpool students this fall. 

Kent State East Liverpool Dean, Stephen Nameth, Ph.D. was excited to honor the students and donors who continue to make the community a better place to live and work.  “Having the opportunity to recognize the generosity of our donors and the hard work and dedication of our students is something I take great pleasure in,” Nameth said.
