Chemistry Professor Receives Outstanding Teaching Award

Dr. Ruth Leslie, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, was presented with the 2009 Outstanding Teaching Award. The awards, sponsored by the University Teaching Council, were handed out at the Celebrating College Teaching conference. According to the eInside, each recipient received a crystal apple and a $1,500 honorarium. The Outstanding Teaching Award honors full-time, non-tenure track and part-time faculty. The Department would like to congratulate Dr. Leslie on her achievement. |
