Denise M. McEnroe-Petitte, Ph.D., RN
Biography
Dr. Denise McEnroe-Petitte has been a registered nurse since 1978. She has worked in a variety of roles and settings including: Coronary Care and Stepdown Unit, Intensive Care, Emergency Department, Skilled Nursing Home, Home Health, Manager of a Cardiovascular Physician Group, Management Roles in the Hospital, and Nursing Education. Her primary areas of interest includes cardiovascular nursing with emphasis on heart failure. She has been the facilitator of a heart failure support group for the past 16 years for patients and their caregivers. In her educational role, Dr. McEnroe-Petitte educates individuals seeking an associate degree in nursing and also teaches in the RN to BSN courses. Her publications, published in peer review journals, have focused on various topics, but researching on caring and caring with nursing students and faculty have been the recent works.
