Pre-AERI Logistics Updates

Travel reminder
If you plan to arrive in Kent by taxi, you MUST book in advance! These are local taxi companies, including contact information:
Please keep in mind that although Uber is available for getting around the Kent area, it may not be available to Kent from the Cleveland airport.
There has been a change in the check-in and check-out location.
Check-in and check-out will be located in the Twin Towers (it is the center area between Beall and McDowell Halls, and the front of the building facing the parking lot says "Office of Student Conduct"). You will proceed to the desk inside where you will receive your room key.
  • If you are arriving on Thursday July 7 between 1-5 PM, conference organizers will be located in the lounge near the desk to hand out registration information folders.
  • If you are arriving outside of this time frame, you will pick up your registration folder on Friday morning at the Registration Desk on the first floor of the library.
Centennial Court B is located approximately a 10 minute walk from Twin Towers. A map of the route can be found here:
If you are taking a taxi or are driving from Twin Towers to Centennial Court B, the GPS address for the building is:
325 Midway Drive
Kent, OH 44243
Check-out is at noon. You must return your key to the Twin Towers desk when you check out. If you are leaving Tuesday, you will be able to store your luggage at SLIS after checking out of the dorm in the morning.
If you purchased a parking pass, you will also pick up your pass at check-in. You may park in any C or S lot. The closest to Centennial Court is lot S-42, in front of the E. Turner Stump Theatre.
What to bring
The dorm accommodations will include basic linens (including sheets and a light blanket), a pillow, and towel.
  • Please bring your own personal care items. The KSU Student Center has limited options and hours on the weekend.
  • You may also want to bring hangers for your clothing, since those are not provided by the dorm.
