About Our Master’s in Translation Online
Our M.A. in Translation provides students with six language combinations to choose from, representing some of the most widely spoken and printed languages in the world.
Students working to obtain their translation degree from Kent State’s online program will complete 36 semester hours of coursework, which can be either on a full-time or part-time basis. For full-time students, coursework is completed within two years, while part-time students complete coursework for the translation degree in three to six years.

Our Online M.A. in Translation Courses
Students obtaining their translation degree online will take the same industry-relevant courses as our on-campus students, and will benefit from the greater flexibility the online structure provides.
