Kent State Biology in Italy in Spring 2017

Spend a semester in Florence Italy...

Kent State’s Department of Biological Sciences is pleased to expand our Florence Italy offerings to include the following courses for the Spring 2017 semester:

BSCI 30156 Elements of Genetics

BSCI 30157 Elements of Genetics Lab

BSCI 40430 Animal Physiology

If you are interested, we encourage you to consider how this semester fits in with your fall registration.  For some students, taking cell biology in the fall on the Kent campus and then taking these three BSCI courses in Florence is the best strategy.

In addition to these spring semester offerings from BSCI, there are also a number of other courses to select from:

Selecting from among these courses with the assistance of your faculty or professional advisor can help you meet Kent Core requirements, language requirements, get upper level credits, expose yourself to new and exciting topics, work on a minor, etc.

In addition, you might consider staying in Europe after the semester ends to attend the 2017 Florence Summer Institute where there will be other BSCI courses from which you can select.
