I am currently a College Credit Plus (CCP) student attending Kent State University. How will the Tuition Guarantee Plan affect my tuition once I attend Kent State University as a new incoming degree-seeking freshman?

All new incoming degree-seeking freshman will be placed in the cohort rate in effect for the term they enroll at Kent State University.  As such, this cohort rate, which includes, the Ohio resident tuition (i.e. instructional and general fee), career services fee, room, and board will not increase for 12 consecutive semesters or 4 academic years regardless of the number of CCP credits earned prior to becoming a new incoming degree-seeking freshman.

Example: A  new first-year degree-seeking freshman entering fall 2018 has earned 30 credit hours as a CCP student.  The 30 earned credit hours will not affect the student’s cohort period.  As such, the student will be guaranteed that their Ohio resident tuition rate (i.e. instructional and general fee), career services fee, room, and board rates stay the same from fall 2018 through summer 2022.
