The Collections Department is responsible for the Perkins (formerly known as the National Direct (Defense), Nursing Student Loans (NSL), Health Professions Student Loan (HPSL), and the Loans for Disadvantaged Students (LDS). The Perkins Student Loan Department (formerly known as the National Direct (Defense) Student Loans program) is responsible for Perkins Loan Counseling, providing information regarding the terms and conditions of your loan, and collecting on past due debts. Questions concerning consolidation, direct deposit, and general maintenance of your Federal Perkins, Nursing, and Schell student loans should be directed to a Student Loan Specialist by calling 330-672-2626 Option 2. Our outstanding staff is knowledgeable in all aspects of student loan repayment and are here to help guide you through your repayment process.
