Interested in leading a Faculty-Directed Education Abroad program or Study Away program?

The College of Arts and Sciences, through the Office of International Programs and Education Abroad (IPEA), is proud to offer support to faculty members seeking to take the learning experience outside of the classroom. IPEA offers assistance to faculty members with program planning, logistics, and promotion.  Faculty members who wish to offer an academic, for-credit course, which takes students to international locations,  should complete the Education Abroad Proposal. Faculty members who wish to offer an academic, for-credit course, which takes students to locations throughout the United States. 

Notes of Importance: 

  • Please be sure your Chair/Director is aware of your proposal submission prior to March 1
  • Do not forget to submit a DRAFT syllabus at the time of your proposal submission; syllabus can always be amended at a later date to change course readings, assignments, etc. 
  • We ask that you submit your budget and itinerary using the template provided (see below); there is information in the documents that you may not be aware are associated with the program fee students pay, etc.
