Florence Summer Institute 2021 for CAS Faculty

In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Florence Program in 2022, the College of Arts and Sciences would like to highlight several themes for the Florence Summer Institute 2022 that embody areas of distinction and innovation for disciplines throughout our offerings. As such, we encourage you to consider proposing a course that might align with any or all of the four following interest areas: Social Justice; Environmental Sustainability/Climate Change; Race, Gender, and Sexuality; and Intersections between Arts and Science.

NOTE: Course proposals are welcome from all disciplines and areas of study and from TT, NTT, and adjunct faculty.

Please fill out the information if you are a prospective faculty member and are interested in teaching in Florence for the Summer 2022 semester.

This application is for College of Arts and Sciences only and it does not guarantee participation in the Florence Summer Institute. Additional applications may be required by the Office of Global Education.

The deadline was June 1, 2021 -- we will email the prospective faculty members during the summer.
